The reason the Album is called Bitch is because I wanted to take the word bitch that is so brutally used and turn it into a term of endearment and put power behind it. Men call us bitches everyday in this generation so I showed you all of my personal “bitch” attitudes on the album. The “boss bitch” is the one who is frequently recognized on the tap.
I’ve been a stripper for three years and everybody associates stripping with such negative roles when in reality most of these girls in the club are stripping to better their life and that’s their only outlet. I know plenty of strippers that are going to be doctors, lawyers, nurses, teachers and more. So my song is telling these women to get the money anyway that you can and fuck everybody that’s acting funny, fuck anybody that has anything bad to say! At the end of the day you are going to make it.
I'm a unique artist because I happen to be a singer and a rapper and that is not very common in the music industry for women right now. Yes a lot of women rappers put some auto tune in their vocals and a good engineer can make anything sound good but I really can sing without the auto tune! Another thing that makes me unique is that I’m extremely diverse. I can do pop, country, R&B, Jazz, and rap like a monster.

This is THE most personal song I ever made. The plan was to record a club some in Atlanta but when I got there I didn't feel like dancing per say. I was sad and depressed."I am being judge for being labeled as a bad girl, just cause I did Bad Girls. But everything you've seen, was a product of a sad girl." Those are real lyrics. I was at feeling low, the comments started closing in and I had to get everything out....and that's how this song was made.

Splitting his youth between Houston and San Antonio, J.a.y. Young was forced to mature at a very young age. At only seven years old, J.a.y. Young was forced to become the man of his family after his father was paralyzed in an accident. After years of struggling to provide for his family, he found writing as a way of getting away from the pain of reality. Shy at first about his new talent, J.a.y. Young soon became a strong artist and found himself highly sought after. After several meetings with Showtyme Entertainment, an upstart independent record company based in Houston, J.a.y. Young signed as their first solo artist. After playing changing roles with Showtyme Entertainment and then being moved to being the flagship artist, J.a.y.

The release of his latest music video ‘Friend$’ along with southern legends Boosie Badazz & Z-Ro is a launching pad for the summer, J.a.y. Far from just your favorite local emcee, Milwaukee resident Taiyamo Denku has toured the nation repeatedly. Doing so has garnered himself a core fan base and a commanding stage presence. Having easily released over 100 songs with a long list of Hip Hop's most esteemed players, Denku is the true definition of a die-hard emcee. For his latest drop, he provides an official video for "Smackdown".
